JQ's BFit2 is all about Cross/Interval Training. You may say to yourself, "Well, that sounds like a good thing but what exactly does that mean?" Simply put... Muscle Confusion! At JQ's we train;
"Every Muscle! Every Way! Every Day!"
No two workouts are ever the same. Cross/ Interval Training prevents burn out, reduces injuries resulting from over training and helps break through stubborn plateaus. JQ's helps you train smarter and removes the "How should I workout confusion?" and adds our own "muscle confusion" into each of our unique workouts.
The beauty of JQ's is that we take care of the detail and take the guess work out of working out. JQ's training benefits every fitness enthusiast, from the beginner to the advanced, who strive for an effective, balanced and safe workout.
JQ's BFit2 is a small group personal training facility committed to helping you achieve your optimum fitness through superior training methods and expert instruction.
JQ's classes provide a creative and energizing mix of functional, strength and cardiovascular training giving you the ultimate total body workout in under 60 minutes. In addition to small group training JQ's also provides customized One on One personal training and advanced nutritional support.
JQ's Bfit2 runs 45 sessions a week for you to choose from. All classes are designed and taught by our highly qualified and experienced team of Fitness Professionals. Our equipment is state of the art, our training is up to date and JQ's is always fun and welcoming!

If you plan to workout 3 times a week or more you can sign up for our great value unlimited monthly membership. A 12 session package, valid for three months is also available as an alternative. In addition, JQ's offers a 'couples' and a 'family' membership rate. JQ's BFit2 gives you the flexibilty of alternating between membership options to accomodate your lifestyle. Note: certain conditions will apply.
Once a member you have the opportunity to reserve your spot in any of your favourite classes for the entire week.

HIGH INTENSITY
Dont panic! In this case, HI doesnt involve passing out or puking. Neither outcome is encouraged! This workout involves HI strength principles which further challenge and confuse the body. Remember that the body needs a reason to change. Let this workout be that reason and your body will thank you!
FUNCTIONAL / CORE
Function is the key to this workout. It involves exercises that are both sports specific and everyday specific. This workout integrates balance, stability, agility and core work which benefit the novice and athlete alike. No machines allowed - everything but! Trainer gets creative and uses all the toys i.e. Bosus, medicine balls and bands.
STRENGTH
This workout may not be about a one rep max or packing on the muscle but its certainly about increasing and maximizing strength. A challenging weight, lower reps and a longer recovery time will take your muscles past the point of fatigue. Failure is the name of this game! It can be done effectively and safely when being closely monitored by your trainer.
ENDURANCE
Feeling the burn is the essence of this workout i.e. longer sets, lighter weights, higher reps and shorter recoveries. Simply put, dont stop until the whistle blows!
THE MIX
The weekend is a melting pot for the entire week. If you happen to miss a day during the week never fear because the weekend is here!

For the past 2 years I have been training at JQ's BFit2 and cannot imagine returning to my previous couch potato status. JQ's provides individual workouts, so any problems posed by prior injuries, illness or deconditioning are addressed. I can make progress with my fitness without hurting myself or feeling embarrassed.The trainers are vigilant, teaching the correct techniques and weight levels to use. JQ's is both friendly and cheerful providing a supportive and energizing environment. It's great stress management and an excellent transition from work to home. There is zero boredom factor because no two days are ever the same. Clearly JQ's BFit2 program has been carefully planned to meet a whole range of training needs and does so very successfully. The best thing about the classes at JQ's is the variety. The training structure is different each day and this has helped to drive away the workout boredom I have experienced with traditional classes offered at other health clubs. No two classes are the same at JQ's and each session challenges me by alternating between cardiovascular conditioning, weight training, and functional exercises. It is this type of structure that makes working out interesting and fun for me and I look forward to coming to class rather than feeling like I have to go to class! The individualized attention each member receives at JQ's is a major advantage over other health clubs. Because the classes are small and the trainers know you personally, they are aware of not only your physical capabilities, but also your limitations and weak spots. For example, I have a shoulder injury from spending too many hours on the computer, so if I am unable to do a specific exercise, the trainers will show me how to perform a different one that provides the same benefits without causing pain in my shoulder. This has helped me to be more consistent with my training so that I can achieve my fitness goals.

Want to feel great, positive, motivated--who doesn't! I know what eating well and training regularly has done for me. I am 51 and have never felt better. After a couple of health issues kept me from exercising on a regular basis, I started back at JQ's about a year ago. It was like going home! The trainers, Jonquil and Jeff, are highly trained in exercise physiology and put much thought and planning into each individual workout which differs daily. I thoroughly enjoy the club and find the workouts to be challenging and varied. If you have any health issues that keep you from participating in certain exercises, they find a way of helping you around that obstacle with a different approach. Be prepared to work hard, and then be prepared for the results. My teenage sons also like to work out here and feel they get a great workout too. Another great advantage to small group personal training is the friendships and great people you come in contact with. Great trainers, great people, great workout.....what are you waiting for!!!
