At JQ’s we train;

“Every Muscle! Every Way! Every Day!”

No two workouts are ever the same. JQ’s BFit2 training methods prevent burn out, reduce injuries resulting from over training, teach correct form and technique and helps break through stubborn weight loss and strength and muscle gain plateaus. JQ’s helps you train smarter. We remove the “How should I workout confusion?” and add beneficial “muscle confusion” into each of our unique workouts.

The beauty of JQ’s is that we take care of the detail and take all the guess work out of working out. JQ’s Cross Training sessions benefit every fitness enthusiast, from the beginner to the advanced, who strives for an effective, balanced and safe workout.

Our Cross Training Workouts

HIGH INTENSITY

Don’t panic! In this case, HI doesn’t involve passing out or puking. Neither outcome is encouraged! This workout involves High Intensity training principles which challenge and confuse the body stimulating further growth and strength. Remember that the body needs a reason to change. Let this workout be that reason and your body will thank you!

CORE

This is an ab workout with a difference incorporating exercises that are both sports specific and everyday specific. We integrate balance, coordination, stability and mobility which will benefit the novice and athlete alike. No machines allowed – we use everything but. Our trainers get creative and put you through a workout using all the toys – balls, bosus, bands and slides. Find muscles you never knew you had!

ENDURANCE

Feeling the burn is the essence of this workout i.e.: longer sets, lighter weights, higher reps and shorter recoveries. This workout is all about developing muscle endurance and stamina.

Simply put, don’t stop until the whistle blows!

STRENGTH

This workout may not be about a one rep max or packing on the muscle but it’s certainly about increasing and maximizing strength. With challenging heavy weights, shorter sets and a longer resting period you will push yourself and your muscles to fatigue and beyond. Failure is the name of this game and you can do it safely and effectively whilst closely monitored and encouraged by your trainer.

LEG DAY

A Leg dominant workout designed to hit your quads, hamstrings and glutes plus anything in-between. Your lower body is your foundation and a strong foundation leads to a strong body. Strong legs will support you through every other workout and turn you into a calorie burning machine. Working your lower body is without doubt one of the most effective ways to get stronger, fitter and improve overall performance.

THE MIX

If you happen to miss a day during the week never fear because the weekend is here! Our weekend mixes are a melting pot for the entire week. Our very own combination of Hi Intensity, Endurance, Strength, Legs and Core all in one! It’s not just a total body workout. It’s a workout of art!

JQ’s ‘ANYTHING GOES’                     

Each and every work out we deliver is different from the last, and if that’s not keeping things fresh for you -bring on ‘Anything Goes’.  
The last week of each month and the regular schedule gets set aside and the JQ’s BFit2 personal trainer delivers a workout that could include well – ‘just about anything’. 

Still not enough variety? –  every third month we then change up our entire regular class schedule entirely. The work out times stay the same but the workouts get moved around. You’ll soon get the hang of it and our live schedule always provides the latest class information.
